From cricket to football, PSL to international tournaments — GoldsBet publishes competitive, constantly updated odds across hundreds of sports markets. All in PKR, all in real time.
Three formats, one platform — choose the one that makes most sense to you
The default format on GoldsBet and the easiest to work with. The number shown is your total return for every Rs 1 staked — stake included. So at 2.50, a Rs 1,000 bet returns Rs 2,500 total (Rs 1,500 profit).
Commonly used in UK betting. The left number is your profit for every unit of the right number staked. At 6/4, for every Rs 4 you bet, you win Rs 6 profit — so a Rs 1,000 stake earns Rs 1,500 profit.
Used mainly in American sports. Positive numbers (+150) show profit on a Rs 100 stake. Negative numbers (–150) show how much you need to stake to win Rs 100. Less common on GoldsBet but available.

A lot of bettors place wagers without ever thinking about how those numbers on the screen are actually produced. Understanding the process gives you a real edge — and it is one of the reasons GoldsBet publishes this kind of transparency about how our odds work.
GoldsBet operates a dedicated trading desk that monitors global sports markets around the clock. For Pakistani-focused events like PSL, our traders combine statistical models, real-time data feeds, historical matchup records and venue conditions to build the opening odds line. Once the market opens to bettors, the odds respond to incoming wagers — heavy action on one side naturally shortens that side's price.
The margin — sometimes called the overround or vig — is how GoldsBet ensures the platform remains sustainable regardless of the result. On a two-outcome market like a PSL match winner, the sum of the implied probabilities from both sides will be slightly above 100%. The difference is the margin. GoldsBet keeps this margin competitive — typically between 3% and 5% on cricket markets, and below 8% even on smaller sports. This is significantly lower than many informal betting channels that Pakistani bettors have historically used.
For live in-play markets, the odds engine at GoldsBet recalculates automatically after each ball in cricket, each minute in football, and each significant event in other sports. The system uses real-time data APIs to track match state and adjusts probability estimates accordingly. Our technology means you get updated odds in seconds, not with a delay that lets slower platforms move first.
GoldsBet also guarantees best odds on PSL match winners during selected promotion periods. If the odds you took pre-match are beaten by the starting price at the time the first ball is bowled, GoldsBet automatically pays out at the higher price. Check the Promotions page for when Best Odds Guaranteed is active on specific fixtures.
Value betting is a concept that separates casual punters from those who approach betting with a bit more discipline. When GoldsBet offers odds of 3.00 on a selection, that implies a roughly 33% chance of that outcome. If you genuinely believe the probability is higher — say 45% based on your analysis — then the odds represent value, because the implied probability is lower than your assessed probability.
You do not need to be a statistician to apply this. Following Pakistan cricket closely, reading pitch reports, knowing which PSL batsmen perform under pressure and which bowlers struggle in Lahore versus Rawalpindi — all of this knowledge can translate into identifying spots where GoldsBet odds offer value that the broader market has not priced correctly.
No betting strategy guarantees profit, and GoldsBet always encourages responsible betting. But approaching odds thoughtfully rather than just backing favourites blindly is the mindset that tends to make the experience more rewarding over time.
When you build an accumulator on GoldsBet, the odds of each selection are multiplied together. If you pick three events each at 2.00, your acca odds are 2.00 × 2.00 × 2.00 = 8.00. A Rs 1,000 stake at those odds returns Rs 8,000 if all three legs win.
GoldsBet supports accumulators across all sports and allows you to mix cricket, PSL and football legs in the same bet slip. The minimum acca stake is Rs 100. GoldsBet also runs acca promotions where if one leg of a four-plus selection accumulator lets you down, your stake is returned as a free bet — making large accas worth trying even when one result goes against you.
